Ma Chaleur
As you step into the large open lounge with the light pouring in from the french doors, your holiday begins.
Ma Chaleur is another one bedroom cottage designed solely for adults to relax in the peace of the countryside. Unlike Mon Coeur, the cottage is set on one level.
The lounge, with sofa and leather armchairs, has our normal 40 inch flatscreen TV, uk satellite TV, and DVD player. There is a large woodburning stove for our Autumn and Winter guests and a Bose Ipod dock for long relaxing evenings.
The lounge leads through to a separate kitchen with french doors on to the deck, and a dining table and chairs. There is a range cooker, american fridge freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine. A washing machine and tumble dryer make longer holidays as easy as being at home.
Outside a deck wraps around the back of the house providing a place to dine and sunbathe. It leads to the hand-built cedar tub and the hammock swinging under the Lime tree, and is lit for evening dips.
The large bedroom has a superking bed. We provide 100% egyptian cotton bedding, feather and down duvets and pillows, or allergenic options if preferred. The bedroom opens directly on to the deck, for late evenings with wine and music.
The bathroom has all the luxuries you would expect of the experience at Le Chaupre. A rolltop bath, walk-in shower, double basins, thick towels and Molton Brown toiletries.
The garden at Ma Chaleur is enclosed and whlst the deck gets the sun throughout the day, the garden is shaded by several mature trees, and looks over the plum orchards and fields to the front.
